About Me Javier Baella has taught courses in the disciplines of finance, accounting, statistics, and quantitative methods at the graduate and undergraduate levels at various universities in the country for the past 23 years. He currently holds the rank of Professor in the Finance Department of the UPR School of Business Administration, Río Piedras Campus. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, and master's and doctorate degrees in finance from UPR Rio Piedras. He has been a certified public accountant (Lic. 3817) since 1995. He has drafted business plans, feasibility studies and financing proposals for a wide range of clients. Since 2002 he has worked as a licensed real estate broker (Lic. 10103), specialized in commercial and industrial properties.
