REMCOOP as a workers’ cooperative, operates within special laws and provisions granted by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Our cooperative’s legal structure allows us to extend to lenders and investors tax benefit from income earned by REM Coop. We can participate as a fiscal agent for grants and investment capital.

Support the creation and operation of energy production cooperatives.
Membership program for independent energy producers.
Leverage our member’s energy production to advocate for better rates on net-metering and serve as aggregators/broker as Renewable Energy Credits (RECs).

EV’s Chargers

The electric vehicle (EV) market is growing, creating demand for charging stations. The deployment of charging infrastructure in line is key enabler of the switch to electric “fuel” and a largely zero-emission vehicle fleet by 2050. The PR Law 17 Policy Objective is to make electric vehicle charging easy, so EV’s can travel easily across the Island.
