Dr. Gineida Morales has a Master Degree in Public Health Education (MPHEd) and a Doctoral Degree in Curriculum in Education (EdD) from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus and Rio Piedras Campus, respectively. She is the Director of the Academic Mentoring Office of the PR School of Medicine for eight years and Coordinator of the Faculty Development Program for the past 18 years. The administration of the Learning Management System, and the Standardized Exams has been her responsibility since 2006. She is responsible for the design of educational activities for the medical faculty and residents, maintaining high standards in the knowledge transfer, based on the needs established by the different Medical School Departments and the Accrediting Agencies. The designs included workshops related to teaching methods, providing effective feedback and general tools for improving their educational delivery skills. Other practical educational experiences include classroom teaching, community fieldwork, online training and education that includes the conversion of teaching materials to online platforms Dr. Morales is a bilingual, medical Sign Language Interpreter, looking forward to be certified.
